Pizza has a very special place in my heart (this grilled mushroom, potato, and onion pizza with balsamic and burrata is one of my fav’s), as do all variations on pizza.
This simple, Italian pull apart bread is a prime example. It’s made from a sourdough loaf, sliced and brushed with garlic butter, then loaded with crumbled Italian sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Homemade or store bought marinara makes the perfect dipping sauce.
I served it with a large salad as a simple family dinner, but it would make a great appetizer for a party too!
