Finally, all natural food coloring made from plants for frosting your cakes, cupcakes, and cookies!
We just celebrated my sweet daughter’s birthday and, for the first time in years, that meant colored frosting on the cupcakes!
We’ve added my DIY naturally colored sugar sprinkles to white frosting in the past but, when you’re turning 8, colored frosting is a BIG deal.
And since I aim to keep my home free from artificial colors, flavors, and non-food processed junk, I was just as excited as she was.
All Natural Food Coloring Made from Plants!
I’ve searched high and low for truly natural food colorings that are both healthy and perform well for a long time, and I’m so glad Color Kitchen has finally brought my search to an end! When I came across their products, I was cautiously optimistic. Could they really be that healthy and work just as well as the regular stuff?
Now that I’ve tried it, I can honestly say, yes! And I know you’ll love them too!
Here are some of my favorite things about Color Kitchen’s all natural products – no, they didn’t pay me to say any of this! 😉

For my daughter’s birthday party, I bought 3 of these boxes of Color Kitchen food coloring and used 2-3 packets each of the pink, yellow, and blue coloring to make cupcake icing shown in the image above. But check out these gorgeous photos from Color Kitchen’s web site for more inspiration…I’ve got my eye on that rainbow cake for next year!
