A grown up version of the beloved Dole whip with more protein and less sugar. Healthy, 5 min blender recipe with just four simple ingredients!

I’m all about the quick and easy proteins these days, so smoothies are an obvious win.
I have so many favorites like this silky smooth chocolate protein shake for hair, skin, and nails.
But today we’re going tropical with this copycat Dole Whip. It’s so thick and creamy, I eat it with a spoon instead of using a straw! ๐
I often use it as a pre- or post workout snack to get a perfect blend of protein + carbs to fuel those muscles!
Pineapple Whip (High Protein)
Equipment
- 1 Vitamix or other high powered blender
Ingredients
- .5 cup 2% milk (or milk alternative)
- 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 cup Frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 scoop Naked Whey protein powder (~3 Tbsp, plain)
Instructions
- Microwave the pineapple chunks for 30-40 seconds to partially defrost them and release some of their juices
- Place the pineapple, milk, and lemon juice in the blender and blend on very low speed for 10 seconds, then very gradually increase speed, stopping to scrape down sides of blender and stir as needed before resuming blending. (If you have a lower powered blender, you may have to add a little extra liquid to get it to mix – just be careful not to thin out your mixture too much)
- Add any optional ingredients like collagen, creatine, fiber powder, or coconut extract and blend again. (see Notes section)
- Pour into a (very) large glass and enjoy!
Notes
- 1-2 scoops collagen
- 1 scoop creatine
- 1 scoop Sunfiber or other fiber powder
- handful baby spinach
