This 2 minute, refined sugar free pumpkin spice milk is the perfect no coffee version of a pumpkin spice latte! Since it’s caffeine free, it can be enjoyed any time of day and is kid friendly! Serve hot or cold for a healthy fall treat. (Dairy free option)
The season of all things pumpkin spice is here and, despite today’s high of 90 degrees, we’re embracing it!
I hear rumors of cool breezes and leaves turning colors in other parts of the country….we’ll settle for turning the A/C down a few notches and whipping up a batch of this 2-minute Pumpkin Spice Milk!
2-Minute Pumpkin Spice Milk
This is such a fun recipe because it has the feel of a homemade pumpkin spice latte, which we also love, but it’s completely caffeine free so it can be enjoyed by the whole family any time of day.
Last week, I made this as a mid-morning treat to help get the kids and me through our home school work. It worked beautifully – one sip, and everyone was relaxed and happy, ready to push through those last few assignments…and that was before I added the whipped cream on top!
This is a single serve recipe, but you can easily multiply it by however many people you’re serving without adding extra prep time.

Fast and Easy Pumpkin Spice Milk – Hot or Cold
If serving hot, mix everything except the vanilla in a saucepan and heat, whisking frequently, just until steam begins to rise. Remove from heat, add the vanilla, and pour into glasses.
If serving cold, Whisk or blend everything with an immersion blender in a large glass measuring cup, then pour into serving glasses.
The kids prefer their pumpkin spice milk served cold, but I’m a sucker for warm fall drinks, so I prefer mine steamed. Hot or cold, it’s fantastic and even better with fresh whipped cream and an extra sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice on top!
Of course, if you like the buzz, you can quickly turn this into a pumpkin spice latte by adding 1/4-1/2 cup of dark coffee or espresso! 😉
Tips For Making This Pumpkin Spice Milk
- I suggest starting with 4 tbsp of pumpkin puree and tasting for how strong a flavor you like then add more if desired
- We use raw cow’s milk, but you can substitute goat’s milk or a dairy free milk like almond or coconut milk
- To make a pumpkin spice latte, just add 1/4-1/2 cup of dark coffee or espresso!
- For extra protein and gut health support, add hydrolyzed collagen powder
- Add colostrum powder for added immune support and gut health benefits!

This is sooo delicious!!!! I start my morning out with this Pumpkin Spice Milk instead of coffee. What a way to get in a little veggie to get in nutrients and vitamin A ?! I used unsweetened almond milk in replace of cows milk and this did not disappoint. Thank you so much !
Thanks for the lovely review, Kathleen! It’s an annual fall tradition at my house, and it makes me so happy that others enjoy it too!
I agree, so good and I tried with unsweetened coconut milk and added vanilla coconut collagen. Just yum!
Ooh, thanks for sharing your version!
Why are all the reviews talking about how good it looks and sounds, but nobody says they tried and loved it? Is this a scam?
Definitely not a scam.!!!! Try it yourself! You could probably use tea with this. I used a frother instead of immersion blender also or simply stir it.
